This week's weather outlook.
The weather pattern is shifting a bit this week but our daily weather will remain similar to what we've seen the past few weeks. Expect temperatures throughout the week to be about average to somewhat below average for this time of year. Wednesday looks interesting as a relatively strong cold front moves through and will drop temperatures across the area.
As for rain and thunderstorms, the best chance looks to be on Monday but each day has a small chance of very isolated storms in the afternoon. Wednesday will need to be watched carefully as storm chances could increase with the passage of the cold front. Depending on the setup, if storms fire on Wednesday they may have the chance of becoming severe.
If you're outdoors this week, just keep an eye out for lightning in the afternoon and be ready to find shelter if needed. Have a great week!
